Release for new changes

I am using this in a library I am writing. There are few changes in master I see working that have not been released. What's the ETA on releasing these changes.

@mmoreram pong, proposing a full rewrite with a much more streamlined API and maybe 10% of the original internal code while keeping most if not all current features as 0.2 in a few weeks
