Bug Description

Dark brown leaves from 1.21.11 become light purple flowers, becoming too contrasty to terrain.

Steps to Reproduce

1. Server 1.21.11 where dried leaves
2. Run ViaProxy
3. Connect from 1.16.5

I guess this issue is caused because it is translated into a pink petal (which makes sense because of their similar behavior of having groups of 1-4), but because your version does not have them neither, then it translates the pink petal into the respective block in your version, which in this case is the coral. Having a pink petal as a pink coral makes sense but not a leaf litter.

Maybe better blocks alternatives are the dead variation of the coral fan, frogspawn, or glow lichen. For even older versions I can only think about rails (because they are also half brown, have no hitbox and have visual gaps) but probably someone else has a better idea. Saying this because I guess carpets aren't an option because they have a hitbox. So it should default to pink petals for 1.19.4-1.21.4 and to the other block for pre-1.19.4 (1.19.4 experimental has them so it can be used).
