stack unwinding & debug information

(opening this issue is an action item on me from a few weeks back)

I was asked at EuroPython whether stack unwinding and debug information all work properly. I understood there might be some testing in CI for C code which could possibly be adjusted to also cover Rust.

Lib/test/test_c_stack_unwind.py is probably the best starting point.
