Version 2 prompts shorter entities for queries that are paginated, and larger ones for specific ones.
The API makes a distinction between "detailed" (larger) and "normal" (shorter) entities.
Detailed entities are only returned when you query them by the id path (ex. /agencies//), and entities NOT queried directly and displayed paginated are considered "normal".
