globe — third-party data and asset attributions

The Rust source code in this repository is © 2026 DocAtPrompt and
licensed under the MIT License (see LICENSE).

The pre-built map assets in `assets/*.bin.z` were derived from the
following sources, all of which are in the public domain. No license
restrictions apply to redistribution, but attribution is given here
out of good practice.

Earth day map (used to derive `earth_classes.bin.z`):

All four source images were retrieved through the Three.js texture
mirror at https://threejs.org/examples/textures/planets/ and converted
to the compact binary format used at compile time by `tools/build_assets.py`
(also under MIT, part of this repository).
